浙东物理前沿讲坛第309讲:Transition Metal Ions as Emitters for Near-Infrared Light-Emitting Diodes (LEDs)

Dr. Natalia Majewska, she is an Assistant Professor at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań and the University of Gdańsk. Her academic trajectory includes a Master's degree in Nanotechnology from the Gdańsk University of Technology, followed by a Doctorate in Physics from the University of Gdańsk. Her primary research focus is on the near-infrared luminescence of transition metal ions. She possesses expertise in spectroscopic investigation, specializing in time-resolved, high-pressure, and low-temperature spectroscopy. Up to data, she has published lots of papers in many different high quality journals, such as Journal of the American Chemical Society, Chemistry of Materials, Angewandte Chemie- -International Edition, etc. 报告摘要: Nowadays, the luminescent materials have attracted considerable attentions owing to their wide applications in many different fields, such as pressure/temperature sensing, light-emitting diode (LED), bioimaging, etc. Note that, the majority of the previous reports mainly focused on the rare-earth ions doped materials. However, the rare-earth ions need high cost and the purification of the rare-earth ion may also contribute to environmental problem. Thereby, new luminescent materials are needed to be developed. In this report, I would like to introduce the luminescence properties of the transition metal ions doped materials as well as their applications in near-infrared LED. 欢迎各位感兴趣的师生观摩、学习!
